Sonic Racing Cross Worlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Package Launches March 26

SEGA CORPORATION has officially announced that Sonic Racing Cross Worlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be released as a physical package on March 26, 2026. Preorders for the package version are now open at participating retailers across the SEA Region, with a special Werehog Pack included as a preorder bonus.

Sonic Racing Cross Worlds is an all-star racing title developed by SEGA’s experienced racing game team. Players can enjoy fast-paced races filled with unpredictable surprises while competing against players from around the world through online multiplayer, including cross-platform play support.

Enhanced Performance on Nintendo Switch 2

The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features enhanced visuals compared to the original Nintendo Switch version, allowing players to experience smoother gameplay with higher frame rates. These improvements are designed to take advantage of the Nintendo Switch 2 hardware while maintaining the core gameplay experience found on other platforms.

Players who already own the Nintendo Switch version of Sonic Racing Cross Worlds can access the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition by purchasing a paid upgrade ticket. Game content remains unchanged from versions released on other platforms.

Free Blue Star DLC Now Available

SEGA has also confirmed that the free Blue Star DLC is now available for download on all platforms. This content introduces the Blue Star Extreme Gear, allowing players to jump into intense high-speed battles with a fresh racing experience.
