Super Bomberman Collection – Classic Bomberman Games Reunite on PS5, Switch 2 & PC

During the latest Nintendo Direct showcase, Konami officially unveiled Super Bomberman Collection, a nostalgic compilation that brings together the beloved classic Bomberman titles from the Famicom and Super Famicom eras. The collection invites players to revisit the iconic retro bomb-battling gameplay, featuring both enemy-focused stages and competitive multiplayer mayhem that defined the series for decades.

The collection supports English language options and also includes previously untranslated Japanese versions, making this release especially appealing to long-time fans and newcomers alike. On top of that, several modern convenience features have been added to enhance the overall experience.

About Super Bomberman Collection

Super Bomberman Collection is a comprehensive anthology featuring 7 main titles across 12 different versions from Japan, Europe, and North America. Notably, Super Bomberman 4 and Super Bomberman 5 receive official English localization for the first time, more than ten years after their original release.

The collection introduces a brand-new Boss Rush mode, along with gameplay balance adjustments designed to ensure smoother performance on modern platforms. Players who want to explore the franchise’s history can also enjoy an extensive Gallery mode, packed with archival content.

In addition to playing the original versions, players can customize visual settings by adjusting resolution or applying screen filters, including a classic CRT simulation filter. Quality-of-life features such as save/load at any time, real-time rewind, and full access to original soundtracks from every included title are also supported. Players can even create their own music playlists, while the gallery offers over 200 collectible items to explore.

Super Bomberman Collection is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Interested players can visit the Steam store to learn more, purchase the game, or add it to their Wishlist.
