GRYPHLINE and Mountain Contour have officially announced the next major testing phase for Arknights: Endfield, available on PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5. The Beta Test II starts November 28, while the PS5 technical test will follow on December 12.
This new round of testing comes with polished content and enhancements based on previous player feedback. Participants can check their application status via the dedicated website or invitation email. As a closed beta, all progress will be cleared at the end of the test cycle, though the official end date has yet to be confirmed.
What’s New in Beta Test II
The beta offers a wide array of upgraded features, including a revamped storyline set in the Wuling region, blending oriental landscapes with modern environments. Players can experience over 9 new characters, including 6-star operators Ardelia, Last Rite, and Pogranichnik. Boss battles have been redesigned, combat mechanics improved, and smoother abilities implemented.
Additional gameplay systems include a Factory system for building and expanding industrial bases, a shooting mode, a teammate recommendation system, and an item crate detection system. The beta supports cross-platform play between PC and mobile using the same account, with languages covering English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, Spanish, and Russian. Pre-registered players will also receive Basic HH Permits, a 5-star character Snowshine, and special rewards when the game reaches 5 million subscribers.
Arknights: Endfield Story and World
The game inherits the Arknights universe but introduces a unique story on the planet Talos-II, a perilous world filled with disaster and danger. Players control a party to explore Talos-II, complete missions, and encounter diverse factions and enemies, unlocking a wide range of narrative content. Endfield combines tactical gameplay with new mechanics, giving players an experience unlike any previous Arknights title.
Arknights: Endfield promises 50–60 hours of content in Beta Test II, providing fans a substantial preview of the full game before its official release.
