Square Enix has announced new guidelines to ensure players can experience Dragon Quest VII Reimagined’s story without spoilers. While the game allows sharing gameplay freely, content revealing major plot points should be shared with care.
The most important guideline asks players to avoid posting images, videos, or streams showing gameplay after the boss fight in the Malign Shrine: Throne Room until the official release on February 5, 2026. This applies to early access players as well, such as those with the Digital Deluxe Edition or preview codes.
Dragon Quest VII Reimagined is a modern remake of Fragments of the Forgotten Past, letting players explore the kingdom of Estard and travel through time to protect their world. The remake introduces new quests, mini-games, and a more dynamic battle system.
