Apple Watch SE 3 Launch in SEA with Always-On and 5G

Apple has officially introduced the Apple Watch SE 3, a budget-friendly yet feature-packed smartwatch designed for health, fitness, and daily convenience. Powered by the new S10 chip, this model brings advanced connectivity, safety, and performance at an affordable price point, making it one of the most appealing choices for users in Southeast Asia.

The Apple Watch SE 3 comes with several new health features, including Sleep Score to track and evaluate sleep quality, historical ovulation date estimation for more precise cycle tracking, wrist temperature sensors for additional data, and sleep apnea alerts that make health monitoring more complete through the Vitals app. These additions strengthen Apple’s position in making health technology more accessible to a wider audience.

A major upgrade is the Always-On Retina display, which lets users check time, notifications, and important updates without lifting their wrist. Its Ion-X screen glass is now four times more resistant to shattering compared to its predecessor. Battery life lasts up to 18 hours, with 2x faster charging that delivers 8 hours of use in just 15 minutes, and up to 80% charge in only 45 minutes.

Connectivity has been enhanced with 5G support, ensuring faster and more reliable connections. The powerful S10 chip allows smooth use of onboard Siri, double-tap gestures, wrist flick controls, and seamless media playback. These improvements provide a faster, more intuitive user experience that integrates well with other Apple devices.

On the fitness side, the Apple Watch SE 3 enhances workouts with customizable Activity Rings and the Workout app. The new Workout Buddy, powered by Apple Intelligence, gives personalized coaching and verbal recommendations based on heart rate, speed, distance, and milestones. It even suggests music and podcasts automatically, tailored to the type of workout.

Safety remains a priority with features like Fall Detection, Crash Detection, Emergency SOS, and Check In. These capabilities are built on insights gathered from more than 5 million nights of data from the Apple Heart and Movement Study, making the Apple Watch SE 3 not just a fitness tool but a trusted safety companion.

The Apple Watch SE 3 is available in two sizes, 40mm and 44mm, in midnight and starlight finishes, built with recycled aluminum for sustainability. Starting at 8,500 baht, pre-orders begin today with official sales set for September 19 across more than 50 countries including SEA.

The launch of the Apple Watch SE 3 shows how Apple continues to strike the balance between affordability and premium features, giving users in SEA access to top-tier smartwatch experiences without breaking the bank. With its health innovations, durable design, and connectivity upgrades, this release is likely to be a strong contender in the wearable tech market.
