Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 17 series at its “Awe Dropping” event on September 9, 2025. Ahead of the official announcement, several leaks have surfaced, providing insights into the specifications and pricing of the upcoming models.

A document purporting to be from KT Corporation, a South Korean network operator, has been published online, revealing all the specifications of the iPhone 17, including the expected release date. This information comes just days before Apple’s Awe Drop, which will take place on September 9, 2025.

The standard iPhone 17 is expected to have a 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED screen, an A19 chip, 8GB of RAM, and a battery. The rear camera consists of a 48MP main lens and a 12MP ultrawide, while the front camera has been upgraded to 24MP.

iPhone 17 Air, the new model Expected to be just 5.5mm thin, with a 6.6-inch screen, an A19 chip, 12GB of RAM, and a 48MP single rear camera, this model emphasizes thinness, inspired by the MacBook Air and iPad Air. However, it is expected to support general use.

The iPhone 17 Pro will have a 6.3-inch screen, the A19 Pro chip, 12GB of RAM, a triple rear camera that combines a 48MP main lens, 48MP ultrawide, and a 12MP telephoto that zooms 5x, while the iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch screen, the same chip, 12GB of RAM, and a telephoto camera that zooms up to 8x.

As for the release date, it is expected that the iPhone 17 will be available for pre-order on September 12, 2025, and will go on sale on September 19. Expected on September 16 or 18, this update will feature a Liquid Glass design and new features like Polls in Messages.
