Originally released in 2006, Persona 3 helped define the Persona series’ signature style—mixing teenage life simulation with dungeon crawling and stylish RPG combat. Persona 3 Reload reimagines this beloved classic with modern visuals, revamped UI, improved daily life systems, and a redesigned battle experience inspired by Persona 5.
The remake first released on other platforms in 2024, selling over 2 million copies worldwide and earning global praise. Now, with the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version, a new generation of players across Southeast Asia will be able to experience this iconic adventure anytime, anywhere.
Story Overview – The Hidden Hour of Midnight
At exactly midnight, an unrecorded time emerges—the Dark Hour.
The protagonist, a high school transfer student, moves to Gekkoukan High on Port Island. Just days after moving into the dorm, he is suddenly attacked by mysterious creatures known as Shadows. In the chaos, he awakens his inner power, the Persona, and joins the Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad (S.E.E.S.), an organization of Persona users who stand against the Shadows.
During the Dark Hour, Shadows roam freely and victims lose their minds, becoming “Lost.” Alongside his companions in S.E.E.S., the protagonist must uncover the truth behind this hidden time, face countless battles, and confront the fate awaiting him.
Meet the Characters of S.E.E.S.
The Protagonist (Voiced by Akira Ishida)
A transfer student in his second year of high school. He uniquely wields the ability to command multiple Personas. His starting Persona is Orpheus, the legendary musician from Greek myth known as the master of the lyre.
Yukari Takeba (Voiced by Megumi Toyoguchi)
A cheerful and popular classmate with a competitive streak. Member of the archery club, she fights with a bow. Her Persona is Io, the handmaiden of Hera, who was loved by Zeus.
Junpei Iori (Voiced by Kosuke Toriumi)
The class clown and mood-maker of the group, often to the annoyance of Yukari. Despite his carefree attitude, he proves his worth in battle with his Persona Hermes, messenger of the gods.
Akihiko Sanada (Voiced by Hikaru Midorikawa)
Captain of the boxing team, admired for his strength and calm demeanor. He specializes in close combat and fights with his fists. His Persona is Polydeuces, the immortal son of Zeus and master swordsman.
Mitsuru Kirijo (Voiced by Rie Tanaka)
The daughter of the Kirijo Group’s president, student council president, and the leader of S.E.E.S. Known for her discipline and intelligence, she commands with authority. Her Persona is Penthesilea, the proud queen of the Amazons.
Fuuka Yamagishi (Voiced by Mamiko Noto)
A quiet, kindhearted student with a fragile side. Skilled in data analysis, she provides navigation and support in battle. Her Persona is Lucia, a saint who retained her vision through miraculous faith despite persecution.
Koromaru (Voiced by Shinya Takahashi)
A loyal and intelligent dog who awakened a Persona after losing his master. He quickly bonds with the team. His Persona is Cerberus, the three-headed guardian of the underworld.
Aigis (Voiced by Maaya Sakamoto)
A humanoid anti-Shadow weapon created by humans. Initially machine-like, she gradually learns emotions as she bonds with her companions. Her Persona is Palladion, the protective statue of Athena.
Ken Amada (Voiced by Megumi Ogata)
The youngest member of S.E.E.S., an elementary school student who lost his mother. Though polite and mature, he still shows childlike admiration for superheroes. His Persona is Nemesis, the goddess of divine retribution.
Shinjiro Aragaki (Voiced by Kazuya Nakai)
A withdrawn senior student who rarely attends school. Though he appears tough and unapproachable, he is compassionate, good at cooking, and cares deeply for Koromaru. His Persona is Castor, famed horseman and twin brother of Polydeuces.
