Resident Evil Requiem amiibo confirmed for Switch 2
Resident Evil Requiem is expanding its presence on Nintendo Switch 2 with official amiibo support. Capcom has confirmed that collectible figures will launch alongside special in game functionality.
This marks one of the rare occasions in recent years where a major AAA horror title receives full promotional support on a Nintendo platform from day one.
Two characters, two collectible figures
According to listings on the Japanese e-CAPCOM store, two amiibo figures will be available. The first features Grace Ashcroft in her early game outfit, wearing a brown jacket and gray jeans, standing approximately 11 cm tall.
The second showcases Leon in tactical gear, measuring around 11.2 cm, posed with his signature weapon and gloves. Both figures emphasize display quality, making them appealing for collectors.
Each amiibo is priced at 3,080 yen, roughly 650 THB, and is scheduled for release on July 30. Pre orders are expected to open soon.

Unlock exclusive weapon skins
Beyond display value, the amiibo also serve gameplay functions. Players can scan the figures using the right Joy-Con to unlock exclusive weapon skins that are not available elsewhere.
Although Capcom has not revealed the exact designs yet, the promise of unique cosmetics adds additional incentive for fans who enjoy customization.
Strong launch support on Nintendo hardware
Resident Evil Requiem premiered on Nintendo hardware alongside other major consoles, supported by themed controllers and a special Generation Pack bundle featuring multiple titles.
The game is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Powered by Capcom’s RE Engine, it delivers enhanced realism, detailed character models, and modern survival horror gameplay.
With amiibo integration, Switch 2 players now gain both a collectible item and functional in game bonuses, further strengthening the platform’s ecosystem for the franchise.
