Black Desert and Black Desert Mobile Celebrate Korean New Year with In-Game Events
Pearl Abyss has announced special Korean New Year celebrations for both Black Desert and Black Desert Mobile, bringing a wide range of limited time events, valuable rewards, and festive content to adventurers around the world.
The celebrations begin this week and continue into the following week, offering players multiple ways to earn rare items simply by logging in and participating in seasonal activities.
Korean New Year Events in Black Desert
Special New Year Login Rewards (February 13 to February 25)
Adventurers who log in for seven days during the event period will receive premium rewards such as the New Year Fortune Gift Box and the Shimmering Blacksmith’s Box. These rewards grant a total of up to 3,000 Cron Stones, along with additional valuable items.
Festival HOT TIME 1000% Buff Event (February 12 to February 16)
During the event period, players will benefit from massive boosts including:
- Combat EXP +1,000%
- Skill EXP +400%
- Life EXP +100% excluding trading and mounts
- Item Drop Rate +100%
This event is designed to significantly speed up progression during the holiday period.
Special Hunting Zone Gift Boxes (February 12 to February 26)
Event gift boxes will appear across hunting zones. Defeating them grants buffs such as the Red Horse buff and Red Horse Lucky Pouches, which can reward up to 2,000 Cron Stones and other rare items.
Platter Fish Arrive for a Prosperous New Year (February 12 to February 26)
Three types of Platter Fish can be caught in all fishing areas. Players can deliver them to the NPC Tonghwa to receive special rewards like the Abundant New Year Box, which grants up to 1,000 Cron Stones. Remaining event fish can also be sold for a high amount of Silver.
Korean New Year Events in Black Desert Mobile
New Year Lucky Pouch Event (February 16 to February 23)
Adventurers will receive Lucky Pouches daily through in-game mail. These can be exchanged for different colored pouches, each offering various rewards.
Korean New Year Login Board (February 16 to March 2)
Simply logging in and checking the event window allows players to claim rewards such as Black Spirit Rush Entry Passes and Black Pearls.
Puzzle Board Event (February 16 to March 2)
Players can select tiles from a 5×5 puzzle board using daily puzzle pieces. Each board contains high tier rewards including Black Shrine Entry Passes and Twisted Time. Puzzle boards can be refreshed up to three times per day.
