TEPPEN Confirms Service Shutdown, Offline Version Coming

TEPPEN Confirms Service Shutdown in Early 2026, Offline Version Announced
After nearly seven years of continuous operation since its launch in 2019, TEPPEN, the real-time card battle game from Capcom, has officially confirmed that its online service will come to an end in early 2026. While the announcement marks the conclusion of a long-running live service title, players will still be able to continue playing thanks to the introduction of an offline version.
Throughout its lifespan, TEPPEN consistently delivered new content and reached more than five million downloads. The game became known for its fast-paced real-time card battles, flashy combat effects, and distinctive artwork that paid homage to classic Capcom franchises while still feeling fresh and modern.
Service End Schedule and Save Data Transfer
The online service for TEPPEN will officially shut down on March 31, 2026, at 10:00. Players who wish to continue playing after the servers close must log in at least once starting from December 25 and before the shutdown date in March in order to back up their save data.
Once transferred, standard cards, character skins, auras, profile images, and other cosmetic items will carry over to the offline version. Premium currency can also be used normally until the service termination date.
Content Changes After Shutdown
After the shutdown on March 31, players will no longer be able to unlock new character skins, auras, profile images, emblems, background music, background art, Legendary Relics, or Secret Spheres. The offline version will also remove all shop-related functions, meaning no additional purchases or live-service features will be available.
That said, players who still want to enjoy TEPPEN’s gameplay will have a limited window to prepare and secure their progress before the transition.
About the Offline Version
The offline version of TEPPEN includes a fully playable story experience, featuring Hero Stories, the main narrative content, Adventure mode with map-based progression, and Battle mode against CPU opponents. Multiplayer features, daily bonuses, and extra missions will no longer be available, but core content can be unlocked through normal play without an internet connection.
The offline version will be available for download for a limited period between March 31 and April 30.

About TEPPEN

The game showcases original artwork created exclusively for TEPPEN and brings together characters from legendary Capcom franchises such as Street Fighter, Monster Hunter, Darkstalkers, Resident Evil, and more.
While TEPPEN’s live service era is coming to an end, the offline version ensures that its unique battles and stories can still be experienced long after the servers go dark offering a proper send-off for one of Capcom’s most distinctive card games.
