Black Desert Reveals Its 31st Class ‘Seraph’
Celebratory in-game events now live
Pearl Abyss has officially unveiled Seraph, the 31st class arriving in Black Desert.
First revealed during the Calpheon Ball, Seraph is a female warrior wielding massive greatswords. She quickly captured attention even before launch thanks to her dynamic combat style and dual-weapon system. Seraph uses two primary weapons: the main weapon Sacramentum and the awakening weapon Purgatum—both large two-handed swords. When players activate her Black Spirit Rage skill, Seraph can unleash the hidden holy power within, transforming both her appearance and skill set.

One of Seraph’s signature traits is her passive skill “Resolute Will,” which allows players to maintain their current combo state for up to five seconds to fine-tune the flow of battle. This mechanic helps adventurers control timing more effectively and use specific skills without being limited by strict windows, depending on the situation.
When Black Spirit Rage is activated, Seraph offers two distinct combat styles:
- Holy Covenant Bladeswoman: Activated through Sacramentum, this path focuses on swift movement and high-impact strikes.
- Bearer of Sin: Activated through Purgatum, this form darkens Seraph’s appearance and increases the size of her blade. Attacks become slower but significantly stronger, with wider-area damage.
To celebrate the arrival of the new class, Black Desert is hosting multiple events offering valuable rewards, including 2,000 Cron Stones and a special furniture item, [Event] Judgment and Purgatum. Players can also collect Seraph Tokens from defeating monsters, gathering, or fishing until January 14, 2026. These tokens can be exchanged for 3,000 Cron Stones, Valks’ Advice (+250), a Utility Pack (15 Days), and various high-value items.
Additionally, the Special Login Rewards: Calpheon Ball Edition event runs until February 25, 2026, offering up to 10,000 Cron Stones depending on login days, along with items such as the Dream Summoning Incense Burner.
New AP-based challenges are also available. Adventurers with 340+ AP will receive a Choose-Your-Precious-Hammer Box, and those exceeding that AP threshold can obtain rewards up to 20 times more.
