Silent Hill Townfall Set to Become Multi-Part Series

Over the past two years, Konami has been steadily bringing back the Silent Hill franchise, from the remake of the second installment to the new project codenamed f, with additional remakes planned for the future. Another project drawing attention is Silent Hill: Townfall, a collaboration between Annapurna Interactive, experts in narrative-driven and interactive games, and No Code Studios, the developers behind Stories Untold and Observation.

According to Gaming Bolt, while Townfall has yet to show significant progress, it remains listed in Konami’s current fiscal year reports alongside other games in development. This highlights that the Silent Hill franchise continues to prioritize ongoing releases, with more than one unrevealed project in the pipeline. Townfall is expected to be a standalone series, aligning with prior reports suggesting it could be developed as a separate anthology. Many interactive game anthologies reuse settings or concepts to expand new narratives, or sometimes explore the same characters across multiple seasons.

The involvement of No Code Studios guarantees quality, backed by BAFTA-winning recognition, and Annapurna Interactive’s support further strengthens the project. While no details about the game’s story have been revealed, fan expectations remain high for a fresh horror experience within the Silent Hill universe.

THIS IS OUR SAY
Silent Hill Townfall appears set to embrace a continuous anthology approach, giving fans a uniquely immersive horror experience unlike anything before.
